How to connect Google Search Console to Squarespace

Google Search Console is a free service offered by Google that helps you monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your site's presence in Google Search results. You don't have to sign up for Search Console to be included in Google Search results, but Search Console helps you understand and improve how Google sees your site.

Before you begin, make sure you are using the same email address you signed up for Google Analytics with.

Login to Search Console and click Start now

It will bring you to this screen where you will want to put in your URL including the prefix, choose the box on the right and include the full URL including https://

Click Continue then choose to verify with Google Analytics

Once verified go to property

Now that you are logged in, go to your squarespace site and connect your account in settings.
